What do College Kids do on the Weekend In college students do a lot during the week. College students often juggle classes, assignments, exams, social activities, part-time jobs, and sometimes internships or research projects. Balancing academic and personal life while exploring new interests can be demanding. This can be exhausting for some people and too much for them so they may travel or go home for the weekends. College students may go home on the weekends for various reasons, such as wanting to spend time with family, attending events or celebrations, or simply taking a break from the college environment.
