24 Hour News (X)
While on the lookout for news within the past 24 hours, I found a post about a horrible crime in Illinois. The tweets state "Horrendous news: Romeoville shooting mystery sparks neighbor fears after two young boys among family of four found dead in own home.." from Tommy Richards. And the CNN tweet stated "Police in a quiet community about 3o miles outside Chicago are investigating after a family of four, including two children, and their three dogs were found dead in their home Sunday night".
One thing about this crime that was extremely disturbing was the fact that all of the family members suffered serious wounds. The parents and the children, but that was not enough. To make sure nobody and I mean nobody made it out that had to butcher the dogs too. The person[s] who did this is seriously disturbing and sick. Even the neighbors are scared and keep a close watch on both the neighborhood and the city.
A family of four, including two children and their three dogs, were found dead in their home in Romeoville, Illinois, after being found with gunshot wounds. The deaths are not considered murder-suicide and are being investigated as such. The adult victims are Alberto Rolon and Zoraida Bartolomei, while the two children are boys. The shooting occurred between 9 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Sunday. Police are not asking residents to shelter in place or actively look for anyone in the area, but are encouraging residents to have a sense of self-awareness and report any suspicious activity.
After scrolling a little bit more on Twitter I then see this post about cooking oil.
Olive oil prices have reached new records due to severe droughts in major producing countries, reducing supplies and increasing cooking oil thefts. The average price in August was 130% higher than the previous year, and there is no sign of easing. Spain, the world's largest producer and exporter of olive oil, has been hit by an intense drought and recorded its third hottest summer, with an average temperature 1.3°C higher than normal.
another tweet stating
"Why prices are high?
Rice- from India, export restrictions
Coffee- from Colombia, Brazil, Indonesia
Wheat- fixed wheat price based on US$ & shortages due to war
Olive oil- shortages due to crop failures
Beef- severe drought in AB & BC
Chicken due to avian flu

This news immediately caught my mind I don't know if I am biased because I like diamonds and I like pink, but still. These extremely rare diamonds have been found in Australia.
This
Tweet states "Pink diamonds are extremely rare and converted- a now-closed min in Australia has been the source of 90% of the colored gemstones. polished pink specimens of the highest grade can sell for tens of millions of dollars."
A study published in Nature Communications has revealed that a new discovery in Western Australia's Argyle diamond deposit may help reveal new deposits of rare and coveted pink diamonds. The study, which focused on the geological conditions necessary for the formation of these gemstones, suggests that the discovery could help reveal new deposits of the jewels, which are highly sought after and can fetch millions of dollars.
This same information has been tweeted through many news sources. I think everyone wants to know more about these pink diamonds. Everyone would like to get their hands on them. Personally, I would not mind to have a pink diamond worth millions of dollars.
